Arctic Monkeys' Glastonbury wigwam
Apr 17, 2007, 7:00 GMT
The Arctic Monkeys plan to stay in a wigwam at this year's Glastonbury festival.
The Sheffield rockers will be headlining the world famous music festival this summer and rather stay in the luxury of a hotel they plan to sleep in a traditional Cherokee tent.
When asked if they would be camping on site at the festival, lead singer Alex Turner told Radio 1: "We're going to stay in a wigwam. Maybe we could do the concert from there."
The band also revealed they would love to work with Amy Winehouse and are hoping to perform live with her this year.
Alex said: "We really like her and her work and we would love to perform with her.
"We here she is going to be playing at the same concert in Manchester as us. It would be great if we could perform live together."
The Artic Monkeys - who covered Amy's hit single 'I'm No Good' during their appearance on Jo Whiley's afternoon show - are due to play at the Lancashire County Cricket Club, in Manchester, on July 28 and 29.
