Due to continuing visa and immigration issues, Scotland's The View have announced the cancellation of their May U.S. tour dates. All tickets will be refunded.
In addition, fans and tickets buyers should stay tuned for an exclusive song and special message from the band. The View will still be releasing their fantastic debut album, ‘Hats Off To The Buskers,’ on 1965/Columbia Records on May 8th. The release will have an extra 3 bonus tracks exclusive to the U.S. release
The View has achieved platinum status in the UK and reached #1 on the charts week of release in Britain. The View have been touring tirelessly for the last year, acting as a headliner on the Shockwaves NME tour throughout Britain, and even touring Japan on their victory debut album since the Bay City Rollers in 1974 with Rollin. "Wasted Little DJ's" took home an NME award this year for "Best Track."
