Rocker Scott Weiland and wife face charges for trashing hotel room

Velvet Revolver singer and former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland and his wife Mary reportedly trashed a Burbank hotel room last weekend during an argument, and now the hotel is looking to press charges for the damage done to the room. Scott Weiland - wife - © Scott Alan / Photorazzi

Scott Weiland - wife - © Scott Alan / PhotorazziTMZ is reporting the couple got into an argument after Mary arrived at the hotel – which allegedly got so heated they tore alarm clocks and phones from the wall sockets and damaged the room’s walls.The couple’s children were said to have been removed by Weiland’s assistant. After Weiland left, Mary allegedly stayed in the room and could be heard throwing things. The hotel did call the police to the scene and it is not known if Weiland or his wife were injured during the fight.Weiland pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges in December, 2001. The charge was for an incident involving Mary, and the singer (who has also had trouble in the past with the law over drug charges) was placed on probation and ordered to pay a fine.
