Lilly Allen announces headlining tour of North America

Lily Allen just wrapped up MTV's first-ever "Discover and Download" tour, but the spirited U.K. artist is already plotting her return to the States. She will kick off the tour in Houston, TX on March 16th after a pair of appearances at South by Southwest.

Allen, who will be the guest on the acclaimed public radio showcase World Cafe, on March 16th, is confirmed to perform at KCRW's "A Sounds Eclectic Evening" in Los Angeles on April 14th, at Coachella in Indio, CA on April 29th and at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN on June 15th.

Allen will follow her recent tour de force performance on "Saturday Night Live" with appearances on the "Today Show" (April 13th) and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (April 16th).

Allen's debut album 'Alright, Still' bowed at #20 on The Billboard 200 last month and reached #2 on the iTunes chart. Known as the "queen of myspace" due to the astounding attention she received after posting early demos on the site, Allen has been singled out as an artist to watch across the boards - from The New York Times, The New Yorker, pitchforkmedia.com, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Spin, Blender, URB and The Wall Street Journal to Fuse, KCRW, Clear Channel Radio, Yahoo! Music, AOL, MSN and Nokia, to name but a few. In addition to "Saturday Night Live," she's also performed on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
