Van Halen reunion with David Lee Roth might not happen after all
By M&C News Feb 22, 2007, 19:52 GMT
Don’t break out the classic Van Halen shirts just yet. After fans thought they were finally going to see charismatic singer David Lee Roth back with the rest of Van Halen, word is now spreading over the Internet that the reunion might not happen after all.
Rumors of cancellation have been spreading over the web after a source “close to the band” leaked to USA Today on Tuesday (Feb. 20) that the tour was in jeopardy of not happening. The tickets for the 40-city tour were set to go on sale this weekend, but no official word has yet to come from the band about the status of the tour.
A publicist for Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang Van Halen has told fans to keep in mind all the talk of cancellation is strictly rumor until an official statement from the band is released. The tour was announced on Feb. 2nd, and comes after the band was announced as inductees this year into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Van Halen are expected to perform (though it is unclear if the performance will include David Lee Roth or possibly see Sammy Hagar take the stage) at the ceremony – which will also see R.E.M. and Grandmaster Flash inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Eddie is lost. His sole creativity for the last 5 years is some porn music. Remember 70's porn music.....he has recreated it.
Seriously, this guy has lost it and can not get along with anyone else. Who is next out of the band Alex.
Van Halen isn't Van Halen with Michael Anthony. It should be the original 4 members or nothing at all.
