Spice Girls could be returning
By M&C News Feb 20, 2007, 12:17 GMT
On the heels of popular girl bands such as Pussycat Dolls and the reunions of bands like The Police and Van Halen, rumors are now swirling that pop girl band the Spice Girls could soon announce plans to reform.
Reports are flooding the Internet that Scary Spice (Mel B), Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham), Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell), and Sporty Spice (Mel C) are in discussion to once again take the stage as the girl band that took the music scene by storm.
They are reportedly looking for a $5 million payday for the reunion. However, there has been no reports on if Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) has plans to join the reunited Spice Girls. Bunton is currently pregnant – which could keep her out of the reunion.
Rumors are starting to circulate that the Girls could be eying a fall reunion tour and that it could even feature Boyzone. The Spice Girls haven’t performed together since the 2000 release of their final studio album ‘Forever.’
