Pop singer Robbie Williams in rehab for drug addiction

Pop singer Robbie Williams has been checked into a United States rehabilitation clinic to get treatment for a prescription drug addiction, according to information from the singer’s agent.
Williams, who is known for his bad boy antics, is one of pop music’s biggest performers. He has enjoyed a successful career as a member of Take That and as a solo artist.
"Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment center in America for his dependency on prescription drugs," his public relations agent in London said in a press release. "There will be no further comment on this matter."
British born Williams has a home in Los Angeles. The singer has had problems with drug and alcohol dependency in the past. He checked into a clinic for treatment in 1995 following the break-up of Take That. The singer’s 2006 album ‘Rudebox’ has sold close to a million copies in the United States.

Robbie will be back from this. He's just going through a bad patch but he will comr out the other side ten times stronger and better. as long as his fans support and love him throught this he will be fine.

hmmmm 'sniff the dust' u do know its anti depressants hes in rehab for!?! the Robster WILL come through this! he has very loyal fans here in the uk and no matter what will always be thought of as a great entertainer by the majority!
glad he's got loyal fans in the UK cause over here in the US he's not known at all or if he is it's more as a 'pussy singer'. his songs sound like a cross between gay broadway shows and the kids program 'the barney show'...in case you don't know - he's a big purple dinosaur just like Robbie.
