Gwen Stefani announces dates for North American tour

Gwen Stefani has announced dates for her upcoming “The Sweet Escape Tour” which will see the pop singer crossing North America from April to June with opening acts Akon and Lady Sovereign.

The tour is in support of Stefani’s second solo album ‘The Sweet Escape’ – which was released in December of 2006. The album has seen success on the charts thanks to hit singles like "Wind It Up," and "The Sweet Escape" (which features Akon).
