Babes Aloud
Jan 31, 2007, 14:00 GMT
The Sugababes and Girls Aloud are releasing a cover of rock anthem 'Walk This Way' for charity.
The two British girl groups have teamed up to record their own version of Aerosmith's hit song for British charity event Comic Relief. It will be released in the UK on March 12.
Dallas Austin - who has previously worked with the Sugababes and TLC - has produced the track.
The song received its premiere on BBC Radio 1 on the Chris Moyles show today (31.01.07).
'Walk This Way' was written by Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and originally released as the second single from their 1975 album 'Toys in the Attic'.
However, it achieved its iconic status when the rock band re-released the song as a hip-hop collaboration with rappers Run DMC in 1986.
