The Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Muse and Kasabian are set to battle it out at this year's Shockwaves NME Awards. The five bands all received four nominations and will go head-to-head in the Best Album category.British group Arctic Monkeys are also vying for the title of Best British Band with Babyshambles, Kasabian, Muse and Oasis.Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, 20, said: "When it's your own thing you don't really see yourself alongside The Killers and Kasabian."We didn't think we'd be up for much but people have recognised what we did last year. It's good to be nominated. We'd always love to win Best Live Band.
