Vince Gill hits the road

These new recordings of mostly recent Gill compositions are the culmination of a project aimed at recording four distinct albums: rock, romance, vintage honky-tonk, and acoustic. Vince Gill takes off for a North American tour that will keep him out on the road through June.

The tour is in support of Gill’s latest album ‘These Days’ – which was a four-disc set that features 43 tracks of new material from the country music icon. The four discs were subtitled 'Some Things Never Get Old' (which featured a more country sound), 'Little Brother' (which featured a bluegrass/acoustic sound), 'Workin` On a Big Chill' (which has more of a rock sound) and 'The Reason Why' (which featured more of a soul/jazz flavor).

Gill has received numerous music awards since beginning his career in country music, and was ranked #17 on CMT’s 40 Greatest Men of Country Music in 2003.
