Faith Hill is the queen of country music

Faith Hill has topped the list of the most appealing country music celebrities for 2006 with Sara Evans and Martina McBride ranking second and third, according to a list gathered by the Davie Brown Celebrity Index (DBI). The list determines a celebrity’s influence on brands and on the consumers when it comes to purchases.

The list was created by the Hollywood marketing agency Davie Brown Entertainment, and is often used as a tool for gauging the effectiveness of celebrities in various marketing campaigns. The firm reviews more than 1500 celebrities on eight different attributes – ranging from appeal, aspiration, and awareness to endorsement, influence, and trust.

In addition to other attributes, Hill was rated as the most "trustworthy" country music celebrity – ranking higher than Dolly Parton, McBride, and Carrie Underwood. The singer was also rated the most "aspirational" country music celebrity among U.S. consumers.Rascal Flatts took the top spot among the highest-rated males in country music in the appeal category. Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks took top spots on the list of celebrities in the DBI.Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines ranked a score of 1375 of more than 1500 celebrities in the DBI. The singer’s "trust" and "appeal" scores were more than 20 points below that of Hill.

Yes, I agree with the last poster. Kitty Wells is the Queen of Coutry Music. And she will be 'til she stops breathing. Period. Dolly Parton has much longer track record (three four decades longer) than Faith Hill, and most people wouldn't even refer to DOLLY as 'Queen of Country Music', for God'sake!
