Country singer and former Dancing with the Stars contestant appeared in a Franklin, Tenn. court with her husband on Thursday to resolve a mutual agreement in the couple’s divorce.
The couple agreed to a financial split of $274,000 that Evans charged her husband, Craig Schelske, withdrew from their joint checking account the day that the singer filed for divorce. Schelske also agreed to the judge’s suggestion for him to find new living arrangements instead of trying to return to the couple’s home. The couple is also in the process of determining a visitation schedule to allow Schelske to have time with their three children.
Evans and Schelske have been facing a very public and messy divorce since the singer announced she was leaving the hit ABC television show Dancing with the Stars to spend time with her children and file for divorce from her husband of 13 years. The singer filed a divorce complaint with charges of irreconcilable differences, inappropriate marital conduct and adultery.
Schelske has denied Evans’ allegations in court papers, and launched charges of his own claiming that the singer filed for the divorce after his discovery of her "intimate relationship" with another man.
