Sean Lennon will be hitting the road for the first time in eight years for a 14-date tour in support of his new album ‘Friendly Fire.’ The singer, who is the son of the legendary John Lennon, will kick off his tour on October 29th at the Living Room Club in Manhattan, and will wrap the tour with a performance at the Ram’s Head Tavern in Baltimore on Dec. 22nd. Lennon’s tour will feature 12 other “club-sized” performances across North America, and will include stops at El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, Park West in Chicago, the Birchmere outside Washington, D.C., and the Bowery Ballroom in New York.
‘Friendly Fire’ entered at No. 152 on Billboard magazine's pop albums chart and sold 9,700 copies in its first two weeks.
The singer recently told Billboard the album was inspired by Bijou Phillips, his ex-girlfriend, and the demise of their relationship. The album also sees Phillips helping out with background vocals along with Harper Simon, singer Paul Simon’s son.
