Barbra Streisand ridicules President Bush at first concert

Babs launched some criticism at President George W. Bush and his administration at the Wednesday’s concert at South Philadelphia's Wachovia Center that was the kick-off for her first U.S. tour in 12 years.

Streisand made sure the crowd of more than 16,000 people were treated to classics from her musical and film career including "Funny Girl," "Come Rain or Come Shine," "Love Soft as an Easy Chair," and "Somewhere."

The concert also featured a skit where an actor impersonating President Bush took the stage treat the crowd to some “Bushism” like - "I'm concerned about the national debt, so I'm selling Canada," and "If I cared about the polls I would have run for president of Poland." The skits are no surprise from Streisand, 64, who has been a longtime liberal and harsh critic of Bush.The new tour, which saw the singer come out of retirement, is also a way for Streisand to help raise money for her foundation. The foundation uses the funds to help a variety of causes ranging from environment and education to health care.
