Woman injured at 'Back to School Jam 'O6' after DMX stormed off stage

A 29-year-old woman was injured following an abrupt exit by rapper DMX at the “Back to School Jam ‘06” concert on Saturday at the Nassau County Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., Nassau County. The woman has informed the police that she was hit in the head by a flying chair that was thrown from the stage when DMX and his entourage grew upset about the concert. Reports state that the rapper left the stage mid-set, but returned with members of his “entourage.” The group then began throwing bottled water, and eventually folding chairs from the stage into the audience.The woman did receive a laceration to the head, and was treated at Nassau University Hospital. The police are currently investigating the incident as an assault.
