With the artistic and commercial success of Depeche Mode’s eleventh studio album and tour last year, the band proved that its passion for conjuring melodies filled with soul and shadow has not dimmed after 25 years together.

Rhino Records continues its dark celebration of one of alternative rock’s most inspired and iconic bands with its campaign to remaster and expand Depeche Mode’s illustrious catalog. Deluxe versions of ‘A Broken Frame,’ ‘Some Great Reward,’ and ‘Songs of Faith and Devotion’ will each be available October 3rd for a suggested retail price of $24.98.

Just like the first round of DM reissues this spring, each album will be released as a two-disc set featuring the original album on CD. The DVD includes 5.1 Audio and Enhanced Stereo mixes of the original album along with b-sides, remixes and live performances. Each DVD also features a short film about the album featuring current interviews with band members. The deluxe packaging contains a booklet filled with lyrics, rare photos and more.

Depeche Mode – vocalist, Dave Gahan; guitarist/keyboardist, Martin Gore; and keyboardist, Andrew Fletcher – issued its sophomore album, ‘A Broken Frame,’ in 1982 on Sire Records. Despite the departure of founding member and songwriter, Vince Clarke, the group rebounded on it second album with the hit single, “See You.” Gore deftly assumed the role of chief songwriter with an ambitious collection of songs including the singles “Leave in Silence” and “The Meaning of Love.”

Rhino’s deluxe edition of ‘A Broken Frame’ includes nine DVD-only bonus tracks including the b-sides “Now This Is Fun,” “Oberkorn (It’s A Small Town)” and “Excerpt From: My Secret Garden.” The bonus tracks also include six album tracks recorded live in 1982 at Hammersmith such as “See You,” “Satellite” and “Nothing to Fear.”

The band’s fourth studio album, ‘Some Great Reward,’ became an instant classic in 1984 thanks to the hit single “People Are People,” which peaked at #4 in the UK and reached #13 in the U.S. In addition to Gore’s songwriting and Gahan’s singing, the album featured the inventive arrangements of Alan Wilder, who joined in the group in 1983. The album also included the singles “Master and Servant” and “Blasphemous Rumours.”

Rhino’s deluxe edition of ‘Some Great Reward’ features eight DVD-only bonus tracks such as the b-sides “(Set Me Free) Remotivate Me” and “In Your Memory” as well as five album tracks recorded live in 1984 at Basel and Liverpool including “Somebody” and “If You Want.”

Depeche Mode’s triumphant eighth studio album, ‘Songs of Faith and Devotions,’ debuted at #1 on Billboard’s album chart in 1993. The album spawned four singles including “I Feel You,” “Walking In My Shoes,” “Condemnation” and “In Your Room.”

Rhino’s deluxe edition of ‘Songs of Faith and Devotion’ features eight DVD-only bonus tracks including the b-side, “My Joy,” along with several remixes such as the Jazz Mix of “Death’s Door,” the Too Short Mix of “I Feel You” and the Grungy Gonads Mix of “Walking In My Shoes.”
