Willie has done so much for the family farming community through his Farm Aid relief concerts...after all, he WAS supporting someONE'S farm someWHERE by purchasing a pound and a half of top grade homegrown! The authorities need to pull over the needle-banging wannabes instead, and I'm NOT talking about insulin!

If Willie wants to smoke some pot that should be his right. He's probably helped more people than all of the do-gooder critics on this board put together! Especially some of you younger punks. Before you go criticising an older man that wants to have a little escape clean up your own lives. Worry about yourselves! Betcha there's a lot there to work on. Or criticise the religious do-gooders that took us into Iraq. Probably a lot of you are among this group! Not saying pot is good but its a damn site less harmful than all of your fundamentalist religious bull, whether it be Christian or Muslim its all the same!

I believe WEED should be legal. No one has said anything about the Bars being open til 2:00 am and legally serving alcohol and people driving their cars and killing themselves and others. Tell me that is acceptable. There would also probably be a lot less ( BI-POLAR ) people getting RX's . Save $, Be Happy and start toking.
Also , Vote for KINKY FRIEDMAN, then maybe we will not have this problem with weed.Why does the goverment continue to make money off alcohol and not weed. Alcohol can really mess you up, but it is legal.....................til 2:00 am ............................................

You want the truth? Here goes I would rather have someone on pot out in public instead of r/x drugs which in most cases are worse than pot. I have never seen someone die of just smoking weed and staying home. I have seen someone drink at home and kill theirself by drinking themselves to death. I have seen kids strung out on sugar bouncing off walls by candy which is legal.I've seen alot of bad stuff from drugs and other substances. Why not listen to qualified doctors and let them tell us which are bad and which are not. If we listen to all the hype you can make anything look bad. Why not put all the corn farmers and tobacco farmers back to work by legalizing pot. Which would also help with global warming because pot will turn carbon dioxide into oxygen. By the way my personal doctor told me he would rather have me on pot than pills. Look at all the facts not the hype.
We as the society need to make sure Billy won't switch to Heroin or Crack Cocaine, that's why we have to enforce these laws. For his own good. Nobody knows if he would be standing on the corner selling rocks at no time. Marijuana is a very dangerous gateway drug kids, and we have to go on with the war on drugs to protect our kids from the dangers of becoming a marijuana fiend like4 Billy :)

Life Liberty and The Persuit of Happiness = The American Dream. Weed is part of the American dream because it makes u happy and being happy is part of our moto. I grow tied of u hypocrites that say weed is a gateway drug to kids how about u people try being parents if ure so worried about ure kids. I dont like willie nelson's music to be honest but I stand with him cuz hes fighting hte unfair system just like the rest of us pot smokers.
Grow up???? I think this is the point, Willie is grown up and should be allowed to make these decisions for himself. The moral minority needs to grow up and stop imposing their narrow opinions on the rest of adult America!
