The 20th anniversary of Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit will see some big names in rock taking the stage at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, in San Francisco on Oct. 21st and 22nd. A number of acts – including Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and the Dave Matthews Band – have announced plans to take part in the annual event that helps Bridge School (which was founded by Young and his wife Pegi) for children with severe speech and physical disabilities.
Other acts expected at the benefit include Brian Wilson, the Foo Fighters, Death Cab For Cutie and Devendra Banhart. The tickets for the annual concert will go on sale Sunday, September 17th. Last year's concert featured a wide spectrum of rock icons and new faces including Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Emmylou Harris, Jerry Lee Lewis, Good Charlotte and Los Lobos. Young is expected to take the stage with Pearl Jam at the concert, and also plans to attend the annual Farm Aid concert on September 30th at Camden, N.J. This year’s Farm Aid line-up includes Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews
