Madonna's spraying for sunshine
Sep 11, 2006, 12:12 GMT
Madonna's upcoming Moscow concert is to stay dry thanks to Russian weather experts - who plan to spray the sky to stop it raining.
Rain has been predicted in the Russian capital for the 'Hung Up' singer's show on Tuesday (12.09.06) at the Luzhniki Stadium.
Worried organisers have now made arrangements for the grey clouds to be "spiked" before they reach Moscow by 10 planes spraying rain-inducing chemicals which will make them release their water.
The chemical was originally developed to keep the Red Square rallies dry when the country was know as the Soviet Union, and was recently used for the G8 summit.
Madonna is not the only pop star who has used the system to keep her fans dry.
Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney used the same method to guarantee dry weather when he played in Moscow in June 2004.
