No satisfaction as Rolling Stones cancel another concert in Spain

El Ejido, Spain - British rock band the Rolling Stones cancelled a concert in El Ejido, Spain a day after cancelling a concert in another Spanish city, the organizers reported Tuesday.
The 63-year-old lead singer Mick Jagger would not have sufficiently recovered from laryngitis by the time of the concert scheduled for Wednesday, they reported.
After the cancellation of the concert in Valladolid, north-west of Madrid, organizers had promised Wednesday's concert would go ahead in the south-eastern city of El Ejido, the group's only remaining Spanish concert.
In May, two concerts in Barcelona and Madrid were cancelled after guitarist Keith Richard fell from a palm tree.
Jagger apologized to fans in Valladolid in a written declaration, saying he 'had no other choice' and was acting on the advice of doctors.
Around 53,000 fans, having paid between 83 and 345 euros (106 and 439 dollars) for tickets, were expected in Santo Domingo Stadium. Some 38,000 fans had been expected to attend the Valladolid concert, many travelling from other parts of Spain and abroad.
The group's next concert is scheduled to take place in London's Twickenham Stadium on Sunday. The management expressed hopes that Jagger's voice will have recovered by then.
