Pussycat Dolls sexually suggestive outfits and routines get organizers in hot water
By M&C News Aug 9, 2006, 13:34 GMT

Absolute Entertainment, the organizers of a Pussycat Dolls concert in July, were fined by the Subang Java Municipal Council after Malaysian authorities got more than a little hot with the promoters for allowing the Dolls to take the stage wearing skimpy costumes and performing "sexually suggestive routines."
It was reported on Wednesday that the promoters were fined 10,000 ringgit ($2,714) for ignoring decency regulations and allowing the concert to proceed unaltered.
"The Pussycat Dolls were guilty of performing sexually suggestive routines on stage," council President Mohamad Arif Abdul Rahman has been quoted as saying in news reports. "In terms of their eye-popping attire, well, there's a lot of proof of that from our sources and the media."
The six-member Pussycat Dolls began their career as a burlesque dance show in 1995, and quickly jumped onto the music scene with the release of their first album ‘PCD’ in 2005. The group is known for their risqué live stage shows, and sexually suggestive songs like the hit singles “Buttons,” and “Don’t Cha.”
In July, the Dolls performed in front of a sold-out arena crowd in the mostly Muslim Malaysia as part of the group’s current global tour.
The Dolls just recently announced it would be taking part in a new reality series for the CW Network called “The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll” – where contestant will compete to become the newest member of the group.

I saw the pusssycat dolls back in December and I was really ummm, let's say surprised in their performance. Guys, they definitely don't look that hot in real life. I was shocked in the way they dressed and delivered themselves knowing there were young girls in the audience. I laughed when I read this, it doesn't surprise me.
I love the PUSSY cat dolls. I loved the TV show. I love the blatant and fragrant use of the name PUSSY cat. I want to see a film of the DOLLS singing naked and or in a orgie type environment getting swarmed by adoring fans from all sides and positions. That would be cool. I think they should have a line of x rated videoes.
I dont think that all of the blame should go to the Pussycat Dolls as they are a group of very high talented girls. I am sure that they didn't mean to put a bad influence on young girls, and that they were only trying to put on a good performance. I am only 13 but i know that if they did try to put and influence on young girls i would never wear those sort of clothes or be that raunchy!
Like i said they probably meant no harm to there young fans like me and my friends.

That's interesting because when Mariah Carey performed in Malaysia in 2004, they told her she couldn't wear anything sexy or else she'd be fined or arrested (they also didn't want her to perform because her show fell on a holiday and they thought they was immoral) so she just wore jeans and a non-revealing tank top the whole show...wonder why PCD didn't get the memo about being sexy....
