The band also made a request for any witness to the attack to come forward and help police investigators identify the two men involved in the assault.

"All the bands on the Family Values Tour offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of 30-year-old Andy Richardson," Korn said in the statement.

"Korn are appalled at the actions of these men and are imploring anyone who witnessed this senseless act or has any information about the attack to please immediately come forward by contacting local authorities," the band continued.

Richards was involved in a fight with two unidentified man during the Family Values Tour concert that was taking place at Atlanta's HiFi Buys Amphitheatre during the Deftones’ set. One of the men struck Richardson causing him to fall to the concert and receive a serious head injury which left him brain-dead. He had been on life support at Grady Memorial Hospital.

At this time, Police are investigating the incident as a murder, and have asked concert goers for help in identifying the men. Richardson’s mother has also asked the men to come forward and turn themselves in to police
