Korn fan dies following incident at a Sunday concert in Atlanta

Andy Richardson, 30, died on Tuesday following a fight in a mosh pit during a Korn concert in Atlanta left him brain-dead and on life support at Grady Memorial Hospital. Korn has yet to issue a statement about the incident. The concert was part of Korn’s current Family Values Tour and was held at Atlanta’s HiFi Buys Amphitheatre. Reports indicate that Richardson was involved in a fight with two other men (police have stated they only have vague descriptions of) in the mosh pit.The fight is reported to have started when Richardson asked the two men to be aware of his pregnant girlfriend and to not hurt her while they were moshing. It is believed that one of the men hit Richardson in the head which knocked him head first onto the concrete.Police are now investigating the incident as a murder (it was originally being looked into as an assault), and have asked concert goers for help in identifying the men. Richardson’s mother has also asked the men to come forward and turn themselves in to police.
