British ‘80s rockers Depeche Mode announced on their website that a planned concert in Tel Aviv on Thursday has officially been canceled due to the current Israel/Lebanon crisis that continues to escalate.
The concert was to be held at Hayarkon Park and would have been the final date in the band’s current world tour. The band also announced that there were no plans to reschedule the event.
Depeche Mode has been touring since last year in support of the group’s 2005 studio album "Playing the Angel." The band also plans to release a live CD/DVD set titled "Touring the Angel: Live in Milan." It is scheduled to hit store shelves on September 26.
