AOL Network Live Presents has announced Grammy-nominated R&B singer Heather Headley will be perform exclusively on the website starting at 6 a.m., EST, Friday, July 21st, from the Palace Theatre in Columbus.

For Headley, her second studio album ‘In My Mind’ the torrid follow-up to her Grammy nominated debut ‘This Is Who I Am’ is a kind of soulful, sonically charged diary. You can hear that intensity from start to finish on ‘In My Mind.’ Whether it’s the sultry title cut, or the playful/pampering “Me Time,” or lingering emotive wallops like the heart wrenching/staccato fueled “Losing You,” and the gospel-laced showstopper “Change,” Heather pulls no emotional punches on the new CD.

She also flexes her funk and dancehall skills, bringing in the prodigious Shaggy for the reggae-tinged “Rain,” and throwing down with the ‘Shoo-wopping’ Lil Jon on the cheerfully infectious “Back When It Was.”

Headley is clearly destined for super-stardom. Blending smooth R&B sounds with her Trinidad roots, she turns out favorites like “Fallin’ for You”, “How Many Ways” and “I Wish I Wasn’t.”

Catch her on the rise with her unique melodies and musical grooves as she plays an intimate performance for Network LIVE. Watch the live performance exclusively on AOL Music.
