Sean Lennon plans new album in September

It may have taken eight years, but Sean Lennon is now set to release his second solo album ‘Friendly Fire’ on September 26th on the Capital Records label.In a statement, Lennon said the long time between albums was due to feeling “disillusioned with the machinery of the industry." He continues in the statement to described `Friendly Fire’ as “an experiment to see what it might be like to do music more publicly again."Lennon has also produced a series of short films for each track on the album album's tracks. The film project was directed by Michele Civetta, and features appearances by a number of Hollywood big names including Lindsay Lohan, Bijou Phillips, and Asia Argento.
