By M&C News Jun 27, 2006, 19:59 GMT
Alt rock performer Beck plans to express his love for the hip-hop genre with the release of his new album that is expected late this fall.
The singer has stated that the album will have a distinct hip-hop sound, and described it as bringing his various influences of music together. It will feature his continued worked with producer Nigel Godrich – who has also worked with Radiohead.
The album comes on the heels of the singer’s ‘Guero’ album and ‘Guerolito’ the remix collection. Beck also has announced plans to re-release ‘Odelay’ this year in honor of the album’s 10th anniversary. The re-release will feature remixes and B-side recordings.
