Rock icon Bob Dylan is set to release his 44th album ‘Modern Times’ on August 29th on the Columbia Record label. The album will finish up Dylan’s musical trilogy that includes the Grammy winners ‘Time Out of Mind’ released in 1997 and ‘Love and Theft’ released in 2001.
The new album will include 10 new original songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist and titles include “Spirit on the Water,” and “When the Deal Goes Down.” The 65 year old singer handles vocals and a wide range of instruments (including his trademark guitar and harmonica) on the album.
‘Time Out of Mind’ took home the Grammy Album of the Year award and the single “Make You Feel My Love” was covered by both Garth Books in the country music genre and Billy Joel in the rock genre. ‘Love and Theft’ was nominated for several Grammy awards and featured a variety of styles of music.
