I've listened to her newest single 'Call on Me' and again, I'm disappointed. I highly suggest Mr. Dupree stop producing anything of Janet's. Honestly, I feel he's doing to her what Bobbby did to Whitney. Notice her last album, Damita Jo, didn't do so well. Some will say it's because of the Super Bowl thing, but you good and well know the people who are fans of Janet expect that, rope burn/would you mind (ring a bell?) so there's only one excuse: Poor producing. What happened to the Janet. days? What happened to the depth and color of all of her other albums (Velvet Rope, by far her best album)? Sure, 'Damita Jo' has a few listenable tracks... I suppose, but Janet's known to have entire enjoyable albums. I am afraid if she doesn't get back on track, she just may need to retire -- as much as I love Janet, and I do love you Janet.
However, you, Janet, said it yourself: it's not your style to try and to suit everyone. All you can do is show unseen facets and hope the people like it. As a smart, creative business woman there are sides that should not been shown. Showing the same disappointing side twice? That's not your doing. I'm sure it's JDs. Please stop this abuse of creativity. Sure, stay w/ JD, I'm happy for you, we're happy for you, bla ze bla ze. Just divorce him from your music.
What's with all these collaboratoins? Another Kanye West track? Look what he did to 'Number 1' by Pharrell. His voice is unpleasant. He's gifted, but he's not talented. People've got to know the differance. You've got talent yes Janet, however your luster is being bombarded by people's underdeveloped gifts. Please, stop this creative orginallity's downward spiral to career level suicide.

Having Producers, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Jermaine Dupri should put Janet back on the map. Her fans won't settle for less than spectacular cause we know Miss Janet can deliver the goods. Look what Jermaine did for Mariah Carey. Carey's latest album is one of her best-selling of all times & shattered even more billboard records.Janet's 20 years old better be gooood!
