City lawyers accuse Notorious B.I.G. family of using lies

The family of Notorious B.I.G. has been accused by lawyers representing the city of Los Angeles of using lies to help them attempt to gain millions from the city.

The city’s lawyers made the accusation and filed legal papers as a way of defending against B.I.G.’s family’s claims that L.A. has been involved in covering up police misconduct since the family filed a wrongful death lawsuit.Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) was killed in a shooting in March of 1997 at a party in L.A. His murder has never been solved and Wallace's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city. The trial started last summer, but ended in a mistrial due to a finding that a police detective hid statements. The city was ordered to pay $1.1 million to Wallace’s family for court cost and other expenses.In May, attorneys for the city told the court that the Wallace family lawyers did know about the documents in 2002. Wallace family attorneys have admitted that they made a mistake in when telling the court they didn’t know about statement, but that it done intentionally. City attorneys have asked for another trial to begin as quickly as the judge can allow.

You Can't sue an entire city for the death of one man. Las Angeles didn't kill Biggie, another human being did. Get your money honestly, don't try to use a scheme to get rich. Tupac's family tried to do the same thing. It doesn't bring justice to the deaths of these two rappers by sueing LA for millions.
