Broadway’s The Wedding Singer is released with original 2006 cast

A hit Broadway musical based on an even bigger hit film also make its way to the store shelves today as The Wedding Singer (2006 Original Broadway Cast) is released.
Based on the hit Adam Sandler film, The Wedding Singer (2006 Original Broadway Cast) features eight tracks that will bring you back to the 1980s, but this time the songs are originals (written by Chad Beguelin and Matthew Sklar).
The album is filled with nods to 80s pop icons like Prince and Madonna, and lives up to the themes established in the movie.
The Broadway Musical version of The Wedding premiered during January and February of 2006 in Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, and its New York opening was April 27th 2006 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
The musical has been nominated for a number of awards including three Drama League Awards, and five Tonys - including Best Musical Best Choreography, Best Original Score and Best Leading Actor.
