linkin park is not very good. it's sad to see that a lot of the icons of the 60's and 70's are dying off- often by thier own hands (hunter s. thompason, etc...)

Listen all of you fucking douchebags!! I am a follower of the Grateful dead, after Jerry died there was no more band as far as I am concerned. Still I am saddened by the decision that one of the band members made. That being said, I like Linkin park as well, but we are talking about 2 totally different generations here so don't campare the two, assholes. You young fucks have no reason to speculate or even bring up a name as far as I am concerned, tell me later how hell feels fuckerrrrrssss!!!!

Linkin park is disgusting spew; meaty dribble pouring from the lips of a retarded eppileptic infant would be more appetizing than their shitty shitty 'music'

I've never even heard of the Grateful Dead or Linkin Park, now the Tubes on the other hand are true rock gods. We can all rest easy that Fee Waybill lives on to rock again. White Punks on Dope changed my life!

He may be with Jerry. But it may not be where the expected.

I feel sad. To die without hope should be a wake call for all.

I truly hope he found what he was looking for.

Very sad.

How are your friends doing? I need to make a call today.

Some rise, some fall, some climb - to get to Terrapin.

The sad thing about Mr. Welnick, and suicides in general, is the impatience. The next day, or week, Mr. Welnick might have met some new musicians and began a new exciting phase of his life. Edgar Cayce once said that the three elements of creation are time, space and patience.

Remember -- praying for those who have passed helps them.
