Kylie Minogue guaranteed for Glasto
May 26, 2006, 15:45 GMT
Kylie Minogue will definitely headline the Glastonbury music festival next year.
Organiser Michael Eavis revealed the singer, who was forced to pull out of last year's music extravaganza after being diagnosed with breast cancer - has been confirmed as a headline act for 2007.
He said: 'Kylie is definitely going to be the Sunday night headliner. We want her to do all the stuff she did on her 'Showgirl' tour with the fairies and the trapeze. She is so Glastonbury.' Eavis confessed he had been concerned about whether Kylie - who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year - would be well enough to perform. However, Kylie was quick to reassure him she was in good health and is desperate to perform. Eavis said: 'She is really keen. Her people said they don't even need a contract - a handshake is enough.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
