Madonna set for record breaking tour

Los Angeles - Madonna is set to embark on the most lucrative tour ever by a female rock star, with a Sunday night concert in Los Angeles kicking off a 54 gig campaign that could earn a staggering 200 million dollars.
Madonna has said she wants the 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' tour to turn the whole world into a giant disco. According to press reports, the set will be dominated by a giant disco crucifix from which Madonna will emerge at the start of each concert.
The three-month-tour will take in New York, Miami, Chicago, London, Hanover and Paris among other cities.
