Hmm! Where is Bobbie Brown during all this craziness? I was supprised not to see his name mentioned in this article.
I agree, Didn't he start her on the crack? So where is his name and the sister n law reveals this story with photos. This sounds wacky!!
Both of them have problems as individuals and as a couple. So you guys think he should be mentioned. He is probably in the pictures or might be behind this damn scam!
This is not a surprise btu is she broke?? I dont THINK so. She has millions with grammys and awards that she would have to sell. Cash and assest rich. Homes all over the place. the only thing she is is CRAZy and LOSt.
This is so very sad. Whitney needs complete deliverance that can only come from Jesus Christ. He made her and knows all about her. She needs our prayers more than anything. Many times when people are in the spotlight it takes it's toll on them. She has always been a weak person and having a husband who cares next to nothing about her hasn't helped her any. He is crippled himself. My prayer for her is that she will give her life to Christ. I know what He can and will do with those of us who have suffered from one addiction or another.
Fool, deserves all the un happiness. she fed us all a line about her religious beliefs in order to hoodwink the yank public that she was wholesome when in fact she was all about the money and she lived hard and fast and has now fell off... she is just another slut junkie.
No personal code. No personal accountability. Just a God given talent. No compassion for someone who squanders away such an opportunity to help so many others. And Mr. Brown the spouse? Just a Bad influence. I am sorry for her child.
Remember George Michael in the public toilet? Remember Boy George getting busted for drugs? This is the next publicity stunt in the making. Please take a step back and look at times it has happened before. And if she has gone as far as the press is stating.... like I said publicity in any form is good for entertainers...

I pray to God that he will have mercy on Whitney Houston. That she will turn to Him with an open heart, and Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour take her out of the chains of drugs that are keeping her in bondage and away from Him.
I have been telling my friends for months that Bobby was not the junkie and that it was Whitney. Every time Bobby and Whitney were stopped with drugs they would blame it on Bobby and make him out to be the bad guy to cover up her problems yes Bobby may have showed her the way to the drugs, but it was Whitney who stayed with them if she didn't want to do durgs or be apart of that life she could have walked away from Bobby a long time ago. She is so GHETTO and nowhere near the lady they like us to think she is. She is a hood-rat and now is getting her just dues.
Those are meth delivery systems foisted on addicts by their enforcing crews but definitely not pleasure toys by conventional definitions. Her plight might be worse than the Inquirer is revealing:

No amount of money can provide the personal security to fend off vile drugs dropping branches. Like others, her need is for guards who can say 'No' while stopping the private homeplace doors from being opened by crooks.

It is very sad that someone that God has blessed with so much talent is distroying themselves. Can't blame Bobby for it. How many other women have been exposed to drugs by way of a spouse and don't become junkies.
The really sad thing is that her child is being exposed to all this.
I pray that someone who loves her will intercede and get her some help.
Did anyone ever consider that Whitney may suffer from a chemical inbalance,ie.,depression, Bi-polar, clinical depression etc. rather than calling her a junkie and writing her off as a washed up singer and actor, get her the help that she along with so many other 'addicts' in our country today need. Of course it is much easier to have ignorance to this issue, that of drug and alcohol addiction, than it is to educate ourselves and realize that unless this wealthy country that we live in addresses why over 90% of the 'addicts' today continue to be addicts because they either don't have the means to get proper diagnosis for their illness, proper medical treatment with a dual diagnosis, depression and addiction. Our goverment needs to put as much money if not more into medical treatment for 'addicts as they do in trying to stop the drug manufacturers and dealers. Eliminate the demand, without it there would be no profit to be made. Sounds much to simple huh, well drug and alcohol addiction are a symtom of an illness:chemical inbalance just as blindness is a symptom of diabetes.

What ever happened to 'The Greatest Love of All'???
The general public has assumed for years that it was Bobby that started Whitney using drugs. Has anyone thought that it could be the opposite? It's not shocking that she could be broke. Anytime anyone spends more than bring it for a consistent period of time, they are going to go broke! She has not had a hit album, and she rarely tours, and according to published reports she doesn't own any rights to the music she has recorded, Bobby has a slew of children, etc. Now mix that all together with drug addiction, and guess what you got? Broke! I'm praying for her because I wouldn't wish drug addiction on my worst enemy!
I dont know what to believe. 50% of all lies are true. I am surprised at Whitney.

It is devastating to see Whitney in her present condition; but even more devastating is the abuse of Whitney by the press and her worthless husband and family.
Whitney's talent was undeniable and accepted by many as one of the best singers of our time. The press extolled Whitney and is now printing disgraceful pictures that do nothing but sensationalize her problems. But for the grace of God it could be you or me.
I pray that Whitney overcomes her drug problems and that God once again lifts her up to be all she can be. I also pray that God delivers her from a junkie, washed up singer/husband, Bobby Brown and family. Whitney achieved much in life, and unlike Bobbie, it was not at the expense of anyone else.

I've noticed one thing in the talkback, the religious are very forgiving and hopeful. The non religious are condescending and spiteful. This alone is very insightful to me. I know who I would turn to if in need of help. Alcohol and Drug addiction are beyond the ability of the victim to deal with yet one can not help a victim unless the victim wants help. It is our liberty to destroy ourselves. I’ve always enjoyed Whitney’s music and am really saddened by her fall into despair. We all of seen the ups and downs of Whitney but do we really know what her problem is ....what really drove her to drugs in the first place. We first need to know what the cause is if we want to solve the problem. If Whitney is not willing to help herself than no one will be able to assist her.. the bible says ask and you will receive if she is not willing to change her life there is not we can do and she will be lost. She need to look at her most important lost in life if she continues down this path she will lose her daughter, if she is not willing to change for her it's hopeless. There are a lot of parents out there that could have done a lot of things over the years but when you think about your kids and how your actions will affect them you change your mind. In life your kids are a gem to you, how can you tell your kids not to drink, smoke or don't do drugs if you are doing it. We all knew that the day Whitney hooked up with Bobby things was going to change. They say show me your friends I will tell you who you are, and Bobby was a bad influence for Whitney. First of all, let's get the record straight. Bobby did not introduce drugs to Ms Whitney. She was an around the way girl, before she even hooked up with him. She dated several other known stars, but Bobby was a roughneck and that's what she was looking for. Another thing, Ms Whitney is a grown woman with a mind of her own. She chose to do drugs and no one put a gun to her head. It's unfortunate that a person of her ability is so weak that she can become a victim to drugs. So stop blaming Bobby, for he's not the cause, just the helper.

I am writing from Africa where Whitney has a large support base and is widely admired. She seems to have lost the meaning of life and it is not entirely her fault. She also has a chance of bouncing back. Something must be done to help her, and one way is to bring her to Africa, where she will understand what life means and will appreciate how blessed she has been in her life. In Africa, she will experience not only unconditional love and beauty, but also dire poverty, deprivation and suffering.
Tina Brown has only her own interest in mind, if she really cared about Whitney, she would be helping her instead of airing her dirty laundry to the public. And where is Bobby? What isn't he helping her?

Dear Whitney,
I am a recovering addict from Morris County New Jersey. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Checking into rehab is only the begining of this daily battle that only you can fight. You must attend meetings at NA and AA on a daily basis until you can become comfortable with your life where you do not need to go everyday. You can attend in patient over and over again, take it from the voice of experiece you must attend meetings once you leave there or it is not going to work. You need to attend the meetings so you can share and listen to others who are going through the same thing.

Why are most of these comments bagging Whitney? Does it make you all feel superior when naming her as a 'crack-whore' or 'weak'? The lady is ill! Would you call her names if she had cancer? Of course not! Get over yourselves and grow some compassion, especially those hypocrites who bring God and Christ's name into it and then call the woman names.

I think the whole thing is a sad story. Its' a sad case, I could hardly believe all of this, even now I still don't believe all of this. Well if all of this is true, Gods kowns. It's time for Whitney to Give her life to almighty God, start living for him again, get back on the chior, GOD would smile with her as this would be very pleasing to Almighty God.
the lady needs help..does not matter whether she was a millionare and is now broke, or if she never had any money and lived in the ghetto.crack is a cancer on our society and as members of that society we would do well to try to understand and eradicte the reasons why people take to this evil substance instead of ridiculing those that do, help is what they need black or white, rich or poor..why do we let our fellow human beings suffer...shame on all of us..

NO ONE CAN HELP THEM ,UNTIL THE ADMIT AND REALISE THAT THEY HAVE A DRUG ADDITION PROBLEM . THEY JUST NEED THE STRENGHT , THE COURAGE, AND FAITH TO BELIEVE IN THEIR SELF.THAT CAN HELP THEM A LONG WAY WITH SOME REHAB AND POSTIVE PEOPLE TO UPLIFT THEIR SPIRITS .THEY ARE BOTH HUMANS NONE IS GREATER THAN THE NEXT. ALL BOTH OF THEM NEED A FIGHTING CHANCE TO OVERCOME THAT DEMON THAT TAKEN OVER THIER LIVES.I WILL BE PRAYING OR U BOTH AND GOOD LUCK. GOD LOVE YOU GUYS. THE DEVIL WILL LOSS THIS BATTLE.

I am an ardent fan of Whitney Houston. Her music has meant so much to me throughout my life. She has inspired me, motivated me and provided valuable lessons via music. I mean sure most music does that to you but when Whitney sings you get goosebumps all over and you feel the music. I have many favourite singerseg Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Missy Elliot etc but only one singer can still sound absolutely fantastic even when there is no instruments being played. Whether the stories are true or not, I just want the old Whitney Houston back. The media will speculate and crucify stars -which they themselves have made into God-like Idols. Then they tear them down and thrive on their shortfallss and misdemeanours ('you've been telling lies on me...'). I guess everyone goes through their own hardships and who are we to judge ? Sure we can hate Bobby Brown and say it is because of him but then can we question the love Whitney feels for him ? Can we then question love ? I mean haven't we been down roads like that before ? Din't we get up, dust ourselves over and start again ? But we did not have the whole bloody world watching us do it. I really hope that if there is problem that Whitney will overcome it and sing again. There is no doubt that she is the first woman of song and there is only one Whitney Elizabeth Houston. She will rise again and claim her number spot. i have purchased every album (except the One Wish Christmas album which was not released here) and every song has a meaning. Rise up Whitney.
