Kid Rock involved in scuffle with photographer

Kid Rock was involved in an altercation last week a when a photographer attempted to get some photos of the hic-hop artist as he was leaving Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel at two in the morning.
According to a statement released by the Los Angeles Police Department, Rock’s bodyguards allegedly hit the photographer. They then took the victim's camera and threw to the ground, where Rock reportedly picked it up, put it in his vehicle and drove away with the bodyguards.
Meanwhile, Rock is planning on recording a new album this summer, possibly with famed producer Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Beastie Boys).
"We both came from the same place — hip-hop fused with rock and roll," he said in an MTV news article. "We've always been friends, but we've never worked together. Now I want to make a really good, timeless rock-and-roll record."
