Pearl Jam back in the U.K.

It’s been six long years but grunge legends Pearl jam will be playing their first U.K. gig since 2000 next month. The last time the band played in Britain, they did two nights at the London Wembley Arena.The group will play a small gig at the Astoria on April 20 with tickets going on sale March 31. Pearl Jam’s latest album will be out on May 1, their first studio record in four years. Concerning the new album that band revealed: "We've got all the instruments going full force, yet coexisting. It's like we took our aggressions and shaped something positive from them in a very direct manner. Though we'd qualify most of the record as hard-driving, the two quiet ones ('Parachutes' and 'Come Back') could be our best attempts yet at pulling the disguises off of loss of life, and even love."
