what do those numbers represent? 277 or 33 thousand listeners? is that in some small market?
David Lee roth is a has been who was a never was.
Roth's numbers are better than West Coast Stern replacement Adam Carolla's. Why isn't everyone writing how Carolla's days are numbered? Dave's just in the crosshairs because he has a bigger target on his back.
Must admit Diamond dave's show was slow starting but I feel in late Feb and through March his show was gaining momentum and it became somewhat entertaining. I think just when it git going they pulled back the reigns on him....looks like he may be done. As a Stern fan who just cant justify paying for my radio I was hoping that free radio would be a decent alternative. Dave's show looked to be getting better but looks as if that ship has sailed...for now anyway.
Yo Yo, You have no idea what you are missing. Howard and crew do a @5 to 5-1/2 show and is rebroadcast all day and night. The show is 100 times better than on on K-ROCK. It is non stop entertaining. Check out www.howardstern.com to see all the craziness.
You have no idea what you are missing. Sirius is worth $50 dollars a month. Call Howards show in and ask Howard if you can listen in. I will not write the call letters but dail 888-277-4653. It spells 888-A**HOLE. 1 million new listeners came on board from January 9 to March 9 and they think they could hit 6 million conservatively. Right now they have 3 million listeners. It is money will spent.
No, those numbers could be right. Think about it: Even in a city of 8 million, how many are listening to a dirty radio show in English? Maybe more than half the people in the city don't even have a radio on at any given time, and so many wouldn't listen to English that you have even a smaller market, etc.
fellow dummies, 277,000 is the number of people Stern had listening in New York... he had over 12 million nationwide in something like 40-50 markets... it's a shame now he less than a million at Sirius... even though Sirius has over 3 million subscribers, they're not all listening to Howie... with that same math, Opie & Anthony can claim they have 6.5 million people listening to them on XM.
