James Brown to head line-up at Tower of London music festival

London - Veteran US soul and rhythm and blues singer James Brown will be among a star lineup at a music festival on the lawns of the Tower of London this summer, organizers said Friday. The singer, now in his 70s, counts Sex Machine among his greatest hits of the 1970s. Artists as varied as The Pet Shop Boys, Al Jarreau, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings and Dionne Warwick will take part in a series of open-air concerts from June 28 to July 14 for the Tower Musical Festival. Audiences will be able to picnic on the lawns of the Tower Moat before the music begins. A spokesman said: 'The Tower of London is one of the world's most famous and spectacular fortresses and one of the capital's most prominent landmarks.
