Courtney Love wants to sell Nirvana catalogue
By Trent McMartin Mar 17, 2006, 22:15 GMT
It has been reported for a while that Courtney Love was interested in selling a portion of the rights of her ex-husband’s music, but recently Love seems to have stepped up her efforts to unload the valuable music catalogue.
Despite some reports that the ex-Hole singer was going broke, Love reportedly doesn’t want to bear so much responsibility in managing the valuable portfolio of songs.
No word yet if ex- Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic are interested buyers.
In others news, Love is currently working on a new album, the follow-up to 2004’s solo effort America’s Sweetheart. Recently, the rehab rocker was in London, England discussing potential labels for her next album and making a television documentary.
