Black Eyed Peas go Canadian

Hip-hop funksters the Black Eyed Peas are set to perform at Canada’s Juno awards next month. The ceremony, which will be hosted by former Baywatch babe Pam Anderson, will also feature performances from Coldplay, Bedouin Soundclash, Broken Social Scene, Michael Buble, Nickelback, Bryan Adams and Hedley. Leal / PhotorazziThe Black Eyed Peas, who are up for the international album of the year at the Juno’s, are extremely popular in Canada, having sold almost 700,000 copies of their latest record Monkey Business there. Last November the Peas played the half-time show at the Grey Cup football game in Vancouver. The Juno’s take place April 2 in Halifax at the Metro Centre. The show has long been sold out.
