Reese Witherspoon is reportedly being lined-up to present an award at next month's star-studded Brit awards.
Organisers want the screen beauty - who recently scooped a Golden Globe for her performance in Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk The Line' - at the prestigious bash to add some Hollywood glamour.
A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: 'Reese is perfect because she has a huge fan base among teenagers but is also a big name. 'When we found out she is a fan of some of the bands nominated and would be around promoting 'Walk The Line' we got in touch.' Other stars lined-up to present gongs include Madonna, Take That and socialite Paris Hilton. Earlier this month, it was claimed Paris was asked to appear because event organisers hope she will add some controversy to the night. A source revealed: 'Paris Hilton is the big American name who will be there on the night to present an award. She has exactly the right credentials to get herself into trouble on the night. 'She could well get herself booed by the serious rock 'n' roll contingent - and whatever happens she won't be boring.' The Brit Awards will be held at London's Earl's court on February 15. &EngCP; BANG Media InternationalCopyright 2006 BANG Media International
