Nov 29, 2005, 13:41 GMT
London - Britain's veteran rock band the Rolling Stones Tuesday announced dates for a European tour that will take the group to more than 20 countries, many in eastern Europe, next year.
The 'Bigger Bang European Tour' begins in May, 2006, and will include a performance in London's rebuilt Wembley football stadium.
Frontman Mick Jagger, 62, said the group that formed in 1961 was still enjoying going on tour and doing live shows. 'If we were bored to death, we would not be doing it', he told GMTV news.
The band have confirmed dates in Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
There will also be concerts in Russia, Greece, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Portugal, Denmark, Switzerland and Ireland.
The tour is due to end on August 29, 2006, with a concert at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Tickets will go on general sale on Saturday December 3.
