New G N'R this winter?

After selling nearly 2.5 million copies in the U.S. of the Guns N' Roses hits compilation, Geffen records has decided to release a second hits compilation sometime in the future. Rumoured dates for the album's slated release include as far away as March 2006 and as early as this December. Though the album's track listing is unknown it's assumed it will be made up of such GN'R favourites as "Dead Horse," "The Garden," "Estranged," and "It's so Easy."Geffen has been waiting over a decade for the long awaited "Chinese Democracy" album and faced lawsuits from singer Axl Rose, former guitarist Slash and ex-bassist Duff McKagan who claimed the first Greatest Hits release was assembled without the band's input.Ex-Gunners and current members of Velvet Revolver Slash, Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum are all currently at work on Velvet Revolver's sophomore effort the follow-up to 2004's multi-platinum "Contraband." In the meantime, Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" has still not been scheduled for release.
