Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne is set to release The Beatles classic "In My Life" as the first single off his upcoming covers album which also features "Ozzified" renditions of songs by the Moody Blues, Joe Walsh, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, Cream, Eric Burdon, Mott the Hoople and the Buffalo Springfield among others.
Osbourne has been a lifelong Beatles fan crediting the Fab Four as the main reason he got into music. Speaking about the new single Osbourne said, "What I have done, which a lot of other people don't do, is keep the song ("In My Life") true to the original in terms of melody but then Ozzified it!"
The video for the single has been completed and will feature a montage of clips of Ozzy's career and life going back to the early days of Black Sabbath right up to his recent hit reality television show "The Osbournes."
The single and video hits airwaves and television screens this November 14.
