System Of A Down and Akon to perform at MTV Europe Music Awards

System Of A Down and Akon will perform at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards.They will join Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Madonna, Robbie Williams and The Black Eyed Peas at the live ceremony to be hosted by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen's character, 'Borat'.System Of A Down, who have sold more than 13 million records around the world, will perform during the show - at the Atlantic Pavilion, in Portugal's capital, Lisbon, on November 3.Senegalese newcomer Akon, who shot to fame earlier this year with smash hit 'Locked up', will also perform live at the bash.Portuguese football hero Luis Figo will present an award and more performers and presenters are yet to be announced.Tickets to the awards are set to go on sale on Tuesday 18 October.All MTV Europe Music Awards categories will be voted for online by MTV's audiences.
