Preview: Rob Zombie’s highly anticipated Great American Nightmare event

Many primal fears such as claustrophobia and fear of the dark shall be provoked in this terrifying haunted house.

Tonight marks the beginning of Rob Zombie’s highly anticipated Great American Nightmare event, the Scarefest will take place over the next 4 weekends from October 10th to November 2nd!

Filmmaker and spooky rocker Rob Zombie is redefining the Halloween event with three terrifying haunted houses and a stellar lineup of music performances each day the event is held.

Each haunted house brings to life Rob Zombie’s creations, starting with the Haunt of 1000 Corpses, a haunted house celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Rob Zombie’s exploitation Horror film “House of 1,000 Corpses”.

The house allows you to enter the “Museum of Monsters & Madmen” from the film and a extended version of the “Murder Ride” also from the film filled with notorious serial killers from history in it.

This terrifying house will make you want to run out and scream DR. SATAN! The second house is Lords of Salem in Total Blackout, a frightful house designed to scare you on every sensory level.  Lords of Salem, based on Zombie’s 2012 independent horror film of the same title, is going to twist the minds of all those who enter it.

Many primal fears such as claustrophobia and fear of the dark shall be provoked in this terrifying haunted house.

The third house is an immersive 3D glasses experience based on Rob Zombie’s animated musical horror comedy “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto”, the cartoon is transformed into a haunted house filled with scary frights and twisted humor too fun not to miss. Along with all the great scares, each day will have musical performances from many big name artists including a headlining performance from Zombie himself on the last night.
