What a very disturbing movie. So sick and repulsive and nothing but a waste of time. Obviously they are picking up 'anything about nothing' to produce a movie rather then investing time, effort, talent & creativity. Just absolute ugliness.

I couldn't disagree more! This was an extremely powerful movie, which I'm sure left many folks, myself included, questioning the direction of their lives and values, particulary after having children and 'settling down'. What a brilliant performance by Kate Winslet, portraying the face of desperation. Overall an incredibly moving film I'm glad I saw--one I'll remember for a long time.
