In defense of the 3D glasses, and not being a part of Real-D, the glasses used for this engagement I believe are Real-D glasses, which use a specific polarizer and have plastic frames...and right now the film is only being shown (domestically in the USA at least) in Imax 3D, which utilizes re-usable glasses licensed by Imax, which again are plastic frames. I have been involved with 3D off and on for several years and pleased the film is getting such great reviews, but, really now, lets get the glasses aspect of this right because its taken years to finally get to this higher quality level of theatrical 3D entertainment and presentation.
